The problems with my computer turned out to be a faulty hard drive corrupting everything so I couldnt even format the drive or partition it properly. It's was a fujitsu hd it's now been replaced with a maxtor. Hope to god it doesnt go wrong again I couldnt be doing with all that hassle again.
