I'm going to a Pop Idol party on Saturday so I'm really excited.

The thing is, what to wear, what gifts to bring etc. Should I wear trousers up to my nipples like Simon with a Will style checked jumper and attempt spikey hair like Gareth? I'm even tempted to go for some highlights to I can (perhaps) be like Dec.

I know I'll need to take an excess of tissues with me, because I'll be crying whatever happens, so that also rules out the smouldery eye look. I'll take my mobile with me, so I can fit in a few sneaky extra votes when I 'nip to the toilet' without looking too sad, but can you think of anything else that might come in handy?

On GMTV they've got flags of Will and Gareth. Did they make them, or do you think I can get hold of some to pass out? I'll pass on the t-shirts, but I'd quite like something to wave.
