I like her a lot. but she has not under any circumstance defined this decade. She's barely defined 2009. The afore mentioned artists have been revolutionary. GaGa hasn't changed anything she's just lightly shocked a few people - most of those people being people who knew **** all of music outside the Top 40 anyway.
Okay then maybe there have been other bigger artists over the past 10 years but I can't believe you said she has 'barely defined 2009'. That's crazy, 2009 is the year of Gaga and she's probably the biggest-selling artist of this year.
she had a good run but her star is fading already. depending on how LoveGame does, which I don't think will be very good, we shall see.
