Interesting. Newdramas feature smoking less and less. Is there a smoker left in Corrie? I noticed Nasty Nick smoke outside the Queen Vic, but even Dot scarcely seems to smoke any more. I think it is disappearing by degrees.

It is frowned upon for people to smoke on dramas, so i think this is part of the reason...but yea, its classed as illegal if they smoke on set
I saw Nick smoke in an episode of EE at the door of the Vic. Proof positive that smokers are bad people. But you don't see Dot light up, standing at the door of the Vic is not Dot's thing.
Maybe they have to get some kind of permit if a character is going to have a tab...
