I agree with much of what you say. His faults are that he became too arrogant about surviving nominations and that he has behaved in an immature way. He has also become eaten up with hatred for Lisa and with love for Bea.

Yes he has bitched - so have many others.

But these are hardly hanging offences.

Listening to some people you would think the guy had murdered someone.

Despite what people say, there is a lot of inverted snobbery in people's criticism of him.

The reference to "posh" Freddie, the talk of his "patronising" voice - if he spoke like David, would there be this level of criticism? I suggest not.

This is someone who is one of the most interestingly eccentric and unusual HMs we have ever had on the show - and BB have quite frankly treated him with contempt.

He offers far more than Lisa, David or Sophie do the house - and IMO more than Charlie and Rodrigo with their contrived romance.

But what has endeared me to him most of all is the way he has endured hardship on the show. Some of it has been self-inflicted, grant you. But what he has gone through is some of the worst and nastiest forms of bullying, belittling and undermining that I have ever seen a HM experience.

Those first few weeks with Lisa have been erased from history - by BB and some on this Forum. But I remember people on here and elsewhere saying it was the worst from of collective bullying anyone has ever experienced. It amazes me that any fair-minded person can simply dismiss this and yet some do.

And as for Bea. Words cannot describe the intense hatred I have for that woman. Whilst some HMs have wound me up big time, I have never felt such contempt for anyone on the show. She is the first HM I have ever seen who has absolutely no redeeming qualities. I only hope she gets the biggest boos in BB history.

However, I know this is only a game show and that Freddie can eventually walk away from the situation - I hope he realises when he gets out how appallingly he has been treated by her.

He is certainly not perfect but for me one of the most interesting HMs we have ever seen and the sort of HM that the show should be desperate to keep in there. The fact that they're not tells you everything you need to know about the mentality of the shows' producers.

I have a lot of admiration for him despite his many faults.
