This is so true.
It has really been a tragic story with regards to Freddie. He had weeks and weeks of being fairly isolated in the House, knowing he was being knifed each week by Team Nasty yet surviving eviction after eviction. As Marcus wisely pointed out this week, those early weeks have never really left him.
The irony is amazing... at the exact moment when the opportunity
finally arose for the public to oust his chief tormentor, Freddie made his first serious misstep and, with a tragic inevitability, that horrid British character flaw, the desire to build people up and then tear them down, came to the fore and some people here turned on him.
Now all the events of the early weeks are being written out of history by Lisa's new "fans", consigned to the Orwellian Memory Hole. Truly this programme is well-named.
And so we have come full circle. With Bea's turn, Freddie has been knifed in the back yet again. Marcus will be evicted this Friday and with only Siavash as a friend in there Freddie will once again be at the mercy of the reconstituted Team Nasty. And this time Freddie will be weaker, psychologically due to what he has already been through.
The next couple of weeks could be painful to watch.
