I think he has two thing going against him:

1. He is Lisa's minion.

2. He makes excuses for Bea and seems to be the only one who can't see her faults. I mean... in the diary room he said he felt that Bea was starting to come out of her shell! OMG... if her behavior has been while she was in her shell, the housemates had better be careful. She might just kill them all in their sleep now that she is out of her shell!

I think if David was away from those two, he would show his sweet side more.
