As I remember, Paul and Helen were offered a free holiday in Bali, and a car if they would go on a 'romantic photoshoot' for OK last year. They turned it down.

Paul said he would love to go on holiday with Helen, but that he would pay for it himself.

Which they did, and he did.

I think Kate and Spencer just took the opportunity offered to them. As James said earlier. there is little love lost between any of this lot. A direct result of the cynical manipulation of the set up by Channel 4, and dare I say, not quite such a nice group of people.
