I think she was a nice girl and probably overshadowed by the others yes but she didn't make much of an effort either. She must have realised that she needed to do something to stand out.

The housemates almost always start off quietly whilst they look at the competition, then they show us what they're all about. It seems to me that Vanessa never came out of that initial first phase.

I also think she must be quite dim, refusing to do the Room 101, or whatever it was, task and then apparently believing that BB was just going to let her get away with it, that was stupid.

She's probably a nice bubbly girl and all that but she should not have been chosen for BB.
