Sorry, the OP is right. Sadly Alan appears self-conscious. You get the feeling that the outness of his sexuality provided sufficient kudos to give him the job. Sadly a gay interviewer is no less cringe worthy when you're exposed to questions such as, to Peter Andre, "will you go out with a celebrity again" I hid behind my setee then.
