who cares what children and morrons think?
When making an anti-Marcus thread or post please take note that this isnt necessary the best way to start, fill or end it as to some it could seen as being unduly nasty and could result in something like this:

Quote:
you shouldnt call your fellow marcus fan such thing!
which may well be seen as far funnier.

Yes Bradley I agree, Taijitu's post were well thought out and expressed. Whether a Marcus fan or not, I agreed with all he said. Glad to see you are a Barnet FC fan - I live in Barnet not far from the ground!!!
Ta. This is also a good example of how we can show support for one another and how possitive posts can make folk feel they arnt wasting their time (even though chances are we are really).

I don't think Marcus needs any help getting evicted,
although,
his 'story' this year might be the number of times he has received help to 'not get evicted'.
Unlikable enough to get nominated but not important enough to be bothered with when there is more important fish to fry.

What do people say every week?
"Marcus can't win anyways but this week is our one chance to get ____ out of the house now!"

Marcus may very well be heading for the 'worst place' there is - the 'Final 3rd-5th place.
The HM ends up having to do the entire stay and doesn't win, doesn't even get the second prize or even third,
yet,
doesn't even get their own Eviction Friday to themselves. They don't even get their own 'Recent HM Week' to be a bit of the story, commentators etc.

It would actually be better for him if he did get evicted this week.
Doesn't look like it.
Once again there seems to be 'bigger fish to fry' and a much bigger story to follow named Bea.
Really would like to go through all that and say something but not enough time today hence why Im up so early. Another day maybe.

Marcus gonna win anyway, sorry
Again I think some part of many people like to see posts in support of house mates even if they can sometimes come over as a little delusional at times. That often just makes them cute.

Quote:
Yes Marcus is like the new Kat, i think he'll have the same fate as Kat i really doubt he'll win
Whilst reference to past shows most often probably create great connections as people feel they are talking to someone who is also very interested in the show it can sometimes run the risk of making people who missed a series or two or are new to the show wonder what is being said. Few folk like to feel they arnt in the know so this could make them feel insecure and upset.

Never liked Marcus much but he was bearable and by far not my least favourite HM. However, tonite and the way he spoke about his Mum was unforgivable and disgusting. He should never be allowed to win after that. I have a 17 year old son and he would never dream of speaking about anyone like that especially me. Marcus is supposed to be 35 years old for goodness sake. What impression does that give to our youngsters about respect and politeness?
This is a great example of a thought out and to me unbiased argument against Marcus and really worth copying and given time to answer seriously I think.

Unfortunately I didnt see this but I will try to find out what he was saying if I can. My first thought is that he seems to have a pretty unusual sense of humour as does his mum watching her on BBLB. She didnt seem to mind him going onto the show giving her no idea that he was going in. Odd to me aswell but for me what type of relationship she has with him is up to them and she didnt come over as minding. Perhaps she is used to him trying to look cool to his mates and knows he doesnt mean it? Just guessing though as I havnt seen the clips.

I do feel respect for everyone no matter of age or any other group is very important though especially on an emotive forum such as this as we never know past experiences of posters and trying to come over as cooler, cleaver or funnier then others is never worth upsetting someone over something they genuinely feel. (I know this to be true but sadly so often forget it when I post)

Unless they call you a pissypissybumbum face that is which really isnt on and deserves a very harsh reaction.

learn the difference between then and than.
A good example may be this one for instance. Another problem is it does open the poster up to a reply vying for sympathy for example "I first realised my English isnt that good when I was always at the bottom of the class at school but since then I have managed to get up the confidence to write things others will read as I feel I still have a right to be heard.". Which could have an adverse effect even if it isnt true.

Like the Marcus fans make such good arguments for him
I guess some do some dont just like those for any house mate. In fact perhaps it could suggest that we all have a lot in common regardless who we are rooting for. For some English may just not be their strong point.

Well all that said I also think there is a time when threads can die a death. Ive had fun on this one. Hope at least one other person has aswell.

Who knows maybe some points raised may also be able to help not only anti-Marcus fans but also anti-Bea fans and all the others aswell. Hope so!
