back to the original point, i don't know if sophie took what noirin said out of context, or just a case of chinese whispers.
i don't think sophie saying it was to get noirin back for anything. think she was just trying to comfort her pal (siavash).

Sophie is not as innocent or nice as she pretends she joined the Marcus fan club for a day before Noirins eviction to help get her out ,Then went straight back to hating Marcus when Noirin was gone.
I think she was a bit peeved the other night that Siavash was still talking about what had attracted him to Noirin all these weeks after she had left and yet had never taken same interest in her, So she decided to sour his opinion of Noirin .I Think she had a BEA moment which Sophie has had every so often during the show.
I dont care whether or not Noirin said this if she said it.
But i dont think she did. So if she did not Sophie was just being spite full
