Marcus DOES drink, he just hasn't felt like drinking much recently in the house. The drink is provided for all Housemates - so he's entitled to his share of it.
Alcohol in the BB house has become 'currency' just like tobacco in 'prisons'. If Marcus chooses to barter with his share, then surely that's up to him.

The party food, the cigarettes, the alcohol are provided a bulk provisions. Do they count the sausage rolls, the sandwiches, the cakes, the pastries, the chicken dummers and have the same number each. No, they eat what they actually want, depending upon their appetites. Marcus doesn't want as much alcohol so why the hell is he hiding it in his drawer. He's like a dog burying a bone, just to stop other dog's getting it!
