Marcus was worthwhile for about 4 weeks and maybe another to seem him get 'punked' and exposed as a hypocrite, coward and a weakling,
but,
he has long over-stayed and has become this seasons 'Kat' where the act is now over-exposed and then annoying and then eventually just a drag on the rest of the scene.

If Marcus goes it removes a drag and is the best chance to see them light up again and even cheer up once the grumpy downer blockage is removed. The house will seem lighter,
and,
we can get at least a last week with a new dynamic opening up.

So really the sooner Marcus leaves the sooner we can get at least one decent week and a proper final not degraded by his presence.
