I was watching the news last night and they had figures on there about how many copies previous Christmas no 1s had sold.
Top was Band Aid with "Do they know it's Christmas" which sold over 3 million copies, and the others in the top 5 all sold well over a million copies.
It seems as though the sales of singles these days are very low in comparison to "days gone by".
