Faria: Why I liked Sven

CELEBRITY Big Brother contestant Faria Alam has revealed she fancied the England Manager Sven Goran Eriksson for his mind and NOT for his looks, during their fling in 2004.

Talking to her TV housemates she said the Swede's power turned her on.

“I liked him for the way he was with me as much as anything else,” said the former FA secretary.

She continued: “Mentally I found him very interesting. If it was a question of just going for looks – a lot of guys are good looking. I have always liked powerful guys.”

But she denied persuing him.

“I don’t go for married men or people with girlfriends,” she said. “But if they go for me that’s a different matter.”

She also said she never intended for her affair to be splashed over all the papers.

“When I was having a relationship with him, I never for a moment, imagined it was going to come out. Maybe I’d talked about in jest in a few emails but I never realised a lot of people knew."
