In your world perhaps, but his body language and facial expression were dead serious. He obviously forgot the BS he told the other day about wanting to leave to apologise to his gf.
Another lie he told was when Davina asked him why he didn't ask the HMs to put him up. He switched from 'It wouldn't be fair to Marcus' to 'pride of them not nominating me'.
Just accept the lies and deceit, you can still like him despite this.[/rquote]
He was laughing when he said it though! Same as was most of the way through his interview. He also said he wanted to leave because he didn't think he deserved to be in the final, same as he said in the DR, because of the girlfriend thing. He said he was grateful to the public for keeping him in but he didn't think he deserved it and wanted to leave for that reason.
Anyhoo, it's all by the by now really isn't it.
