In my lifetime of concerts I've to 4 arena gigs and 6 stadium concerts. I've never been to any smaller.

Arenas are good but stadiums for me just surpass it all. For a stadium show to be AMAZING though,you have to be close. I was at the back for my 2 Manchester ones and the atmosphere was nowhere near as intense as up front. The great thing I love about stadiums is it's up to you where you are. If you want to be front row,it's up to you to queue from 8am in the morning and run like a maniac so all the people who deserve to be up front are.

Also visually a show can be soooooooooooooooooooooo much more amazing in a stadium,like Take That had a 30m mechanical elephant,you couldn't get that in arenas! Also for singalongs and for moments like Never Forget,seeing all those arms clapping or hearing the loudest of the crowd is just absolutely breathtaking and mindblowing. A lot of people say stadium concerts aren't intimate but when you're up front it always always feels intimate.


I really hope TT never go back to arenas!
