A Mail online poll has revealed 42 per cent of you want Jodie Marsh evicted first from the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Here, our showbiz writer Kate Hampson looks at why the foul-mouthed glamour model must go.

A Mail online poll, which asked who should be evicted first, has revealed 42 per cent of you want Jodie out.

A further 35 per cent want blathering MP George Galloway to leave and 23 per cent were tired of watching scary-looking transvestite Pete Burns.

Based on your reader comments, the overwhelming feeling amongst you is that this utterly ludicrous bunch of wannabes saddens us all.

Jodie, for instance, is a worrying example of the new breed of celebrity who will go to any length to get themselves on television. It is horrifying to think that all it takes these days is no charm, no talent and a bucket of make up and plastic surgery to find fame.

In turn, their vanities and insecurities are beamed into our living rooms.

Jodie's frailties being the best example. She has been wailing that the British public have branded her a slapper. Newsflash Jodie - the only reason we know who you are is because you prance around at public events with nothing on.

Once Jodie is gone though, we will still face a tough decision - choosing from the bullies and egomaniacs in the house to crown the Village Idiot.
