The singles chart just now really is all over the place - how else can you explain the Cheeky Girls being at No. 2?!?!?
Even Robbie Williams didn't get to No. 1 with his most recent single 'Feel'.
There's far more credibility and importance placed by the music industry on album sales nowadays. It was great to hear on the Radio 2 Album Chart show last night that Will's album 'From Now On' is the 18th best selling album of the year. That's fantastic for someone who we'd never heard of a year ago!
Sure, having a No. 1 single is great, but credibility and respect in the music business is, I'm sure, far more important in the long run.
