[rquote=2601398&tid=148008&author=beso][rquote=2601021&tid=148008&author=MassiveTruck]My view on them is, I don't need to take them. I can't imagine why somebody would. I would think they've got nothing better to do.

I mean, it's about feeling a different feeling right? Why not explore life, explore the world, explore people... why do you need a substance, be it legal or illegal to feel something? Why not do what people do to feel more from life and that is to explore the world and try new things - that's a natural high.

I think that's why people on this thread are saying it's sad, unfulfilling and for losers.

I think it's a sad state of the society we live in that people really see this as an option, a viable option to do something with themselves. I can't believe there are pockets of society where people encourage it and if they don't like the personality of some people they said you should take them. It speaks for itself.[/rquote]

what if you have had a really hard day at work and just want to come home and unwind with a nice glass of wine, a spliff and a good film..wheres the harm in that if you have already explored what life has to offer ?[/rquote]

This is the crux to what I am saying.

I don't need the film, spliff or wine if I have experienced all life has to offer...

You see what I'm saying?

A lot of people, the vast majority of us around the world - don't need it.

Your Brain is a Goldmine of coping faculties based upon experience and development of the Brain there in.

If you need a drug, then your Brain isn't developing from experience.

The unfortunate thing is, the intervention and use of drugs in this day and age has largely been down to underground crime to manipulate the impulsiveness in the public. The drug says you need it, not you saying you do.
