Big Brother's Jonny Regan, 29, may look thin as a rake but he claims he's never been less fit - and he's seldom smoked more!
And that's why, come the end of his panto run at Newcastle's Theatre Royal, he'll be hitting the gym with a vengeance and trying to quit the fags.
"It's getting ridiculous," says Jonny, who is appearing as the genie in Aladdin and has now left the fire service.
"When I went into the Big Brother house, I was down to about five cigarettes a day but that has shot right up.
"I am determined to try to look after myself a bit more. It's something I really haven't done since coming out of the house. Some days I simply go without food, just rushing about, having junk food or snacks here and there.
"And some nights I just won't get to bed. That has to change. So I'm determined to quite the fags, get back to the workouts and eat properly."
Quitting the cigarettes will also help for Jonny's next job. Just days after finishing panto later this month, he is due to start rehearsals for the touring version of blockbusting musical Boogie Nights.
