No there is a difference.

There is a Narcissistic personality trait. There is narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism which have levels below them of other DMV classifications.

I think the OP is talking about the personality trait of Narcissism and not trying to diagnose people with a mental illness or mental health problems.[/rquote]
