A lot of chavs listen to them [they eat up any old X-Factor ****] so I guess by definition you could call them chavvy. They appeal to the mass market of people who don't ... dare I say it ... know a whole lot about music. Chavs, young kids, general radio listeners who buy singles and not albums, that kind of thing.

Mind you I don't think the N-Dubz are overly chavvy. They dress, speak and rap about 'common' themes or issues, but an actual chav is something far more specific in the world of 'street' people.

And for what it's worth, Dappy is quiet a talented rapper. He has a great nasal voice similar to B-Real in Cypress Hill.
