Joe wasn't the best or the worst, he didn't deserve the comments he got, he wasn't that good

Historically the strongest competitors at the start of the live shows are the middle few to fall. People follow those who have improved, so the likes of Stacey are likely to go the furthest, whilst Danyl, Jamie etc will probably be out by week 6 or 7. Its why last year people like Austin, Laura and Rachel went fairly early on/the middle of the live shows whilst Alexandra (who wasn't particularly liked in week 1) went the whole way, and Ruth got a lot further than most expected and practically caught up with Diana for votes by the time she was voted off.
