I mean, clearly, it doesnt matter if your song is good, or bad, if it gets the xfactor promo, it tops the sales in the UK. So basically that tells me, none of those songs can claim, they are on top, because they are good songs.

Your mental, one of the main things about releasing a single is a good promotion, why would you miss the chance to promote your song on the most watched program of the year?
If they song was really rubbish I doubt they would get a lot of sales just because it was on a tv show. Well done Cheryl, I think the source of all the sales for her is because we have all got to know her over the past year due to her being a judge, we all feel like we have a duty to support her in a way.
