Her 'legend' status has been manufactured completely by manipulation. Her image is based around arrogance; whether she is genuinely arrogant or not, I'm not sure, it's hard to see where the act ends and real life begins with her - and her obsessive hardcore fans reflect that. You just showcased a prime example of why people find her Marmite - "I don't know why pretty much everybody hates Gaga, she's a legend - but whatever" - prove it. How is she in any way a legend?
