That's very true, Di - but how would you feel if the public took a dislike to them, as they did with Adele and Jade?
It must have been terrible for their friends to see and hear all the horrible things the press and media were saying about them, deserved or not.
Maybe that's why it's better that the housemates are complete strangers to us.
