Well because the groups using the word arent using it offensively for one and that they can be sure of. But its a difficult one to grasp I'll grant you that. I guess its like taking a word that caused offence and humiliation and turning it on its head, its fighting back and not letting it beat you. I spose in a way we should be celebrating the fact that young white people see that word as a street term and dont really understand the offence it can cause, but that doesnt disregard it still does offend and I guess it'll be a long time before the negative associations are fully eradicated like

A racist, is a racist. Its the one kind of people, that you cannot change. They are who they are. Especially the adult once.
There is really no thousand way of saying the same thing over and over again. Thats why Ive given up.
