Oh Mr Generic Username, you know nothing of the industry so don't spew out random sh*t as fact. The two biggest ever launches in ALL media industries EVER have been games (Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3). Games are rapidly becoming as big an industry as film Television and music.
