I actually despise reality TV, but Big Brother is different. The main show might be edited, but it's still the most honest, straightforward reality TV show where you actually feel like you get to know the contestants, and at the end of the day your plucking talentless folks off the streets who aren't going into a talent competition, just a locked house to interact with each other like life in a bubble.

I like the nature of the show. I like how they are shoved in after getting out of a car and none of them ever make human contact with a member of the production staff or cameramen [or at least, not supposed to].

And all the while they are in this house for up to three months, their reputation and character are being developed and talked about on the outside world.

Then BAM, you come out to cheers/boo's, the real world, and video's of yourself making a right tit of your name in there.

It's fascinating ****.
