Looking at your signature, this is just an advertisement for your site. The eyes look like they have been created on Microsoft's PowerPoint platform as the stars have the same curves and overall shape.

The star will be cut out of the eye, not just overlapped like you have done. Think about how you could use them lines and chop of to form a star shape. Will be interesting to see what you can come up with following this.
