I really think it's awful to knock someone for being confident the way they all do with Danyl. He doesn't come across as anywhere near as cocky as they make out and he's never been the same as in his initial audition when he really went for it on the stage and they ALL raved about him then! It's just ridiculous.

Jamie (although I liked him) was far more 'cocky' than Danyl was imo. Jedward were far more cocky and arrogant. And you need supreme confidence to be able to perform. I just don't get it.
