-Start
-Control Panel
-Network Connections
-Right click your network connection
-Choose Properties
Do all that then check 'Client for Microsoft Networks' and 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' are in the list under 'This connection uses the following items:'.
If they are not click 'Install' and install thoses under clients and protocols. Also it helps to install 'Qos Packet Scheduler' under services.
It might be something else though, Have you gone to
http://192.168.2.1 to login to the router control panel yet? You need to set something up in there.
