What I find most interesting though is the word they used to coin this type of behaviour, drawing emphasis to the lad culture that it bears direct relation to, and actually in a strange way it heightens the inequality between the sexes. Well, in my eyes anyway. What's just laddish behaviour for the fellas is intolerable and socially unnacceptable for the ladies to engage in.
I mean, if we're going to have a pop at women for feeling justified in acting like men on occassion, why don't we talk about mens behaviour too. What disgusting things can we lay blame to as a sex in the past 10 or 20 centuries when women had been oppressed, denied any legal rights or say in any matters? Eh, war, rape, domestic abuse..... it's neverending really.
