TiBB'S TOP SONG OF 2009
Welcome to the Top Song of 2009. We'll begin with a Top 185, each placing within the Top 20 in the UK Charts (with a few charity singles removed, singles released last year that have leaked over into the charts this year removed, and Joe McElderry's The Climb added, because it's bound to shoot up in the charts)
So here's how it will work..
Round 1: Out of the top 185, each member will choose their favorite TEN songs and reply with their the list. The 100 songs that get the most votes will move onto Round 2.
Round 2: Out of the Top 100, each member will choose their TEN least favorite songs and reply with their list. The 50 songs with the least number of votes will move onto round 3.
Round 3: Out of the Top 50, each member will choose their FIVE favorite songs and reply with their the list. The 25 songs with the most votes will move onto Round 4.
Round 4: Out of the Top 25, each member will choose their FIVE least favorite songs and reply with their the list. The 20 songs with the least number of votes will move onto Round 5.
Round 5: The Top 20 will participate in a +1/-1 round with each having 5 votes each. You must wait until TWO people have posted after you to vote again. This will continue until only 10 song are left.
Round 6: Out of the Top 10, each member will RANK the final 10 songs in order from 1pt being their favorite, to 10pts their least favorite. They'll post their list in the thread. The NINE songs with the least number of votes will move onto Round 7.
Round 7: Each of the 9 songs will begin at 0, each person can place THREE votes per day. The first EIGHT songs to reach TEN votes will continue. You can only post after TWO people have posted.
Round 8: 4 votes per day, first 7 to reach 12 votes continues.
Round 9: 5 votes per day, first 6 to reach 14 votes continues.
Round 10: 6 votes per day, first 5 to reach 16 votes continues.
Round 11: Out of the Top 5, each member will RANK the final 5 songs in order from 1pt being their favorite, to 5pts their least favorite. They'll post their list in the thread. The FOUR songs with the least number of votes will move onto Round 12.
Round 12: Same as Round 11. Three songs with the least number of votes move onto Round 13.
Round 13: Same as above, two songs.
Round 14: Each member will
