CHANTELLE EXCLUSIVE: MY LOVE FOR PRESTON
EXCLUSIVE Oh my God..It's amazing! We can finally be open..He's my soulmate and it's for keeps.. I couldn't be any happier - BB CHANTELLE
By Katie O'Brien
CELEBRITY Big Brother winner Chantelle says she has found her "soulmate" in her new love - Ordinary Boys frontman Preston.
And for anyone doubting Chantelle, 22, and Preston, 24 aren't for real she has the message: "It's all true. We are together. It's brilliant. This is for keeps."
I bumped into the couple during their date on Thursday night, and Chantelle said she is "thrilled" their love is finally out in the open.
She said: "Oh my God! It's amazing! We can finally be open about how we feel. It's been really hard trying to keep my feelings a secret since coming out of the house because I didn't want to upset Camille.
"But now they have split up we are an item and I couldn't be happier. I have found my soulmate in Preston and this is definitely for keeps."
I met the loved-up couple at trendy London restaurant The Crazy Bear. Also there were members of Chantelle's family, including her mum, and close friends of the pair.
While I chatted to Chantelle, Preston couldn't keep his hands off her, caressing her bottom and kissing her on the lips. The couple have even been given the official seal of approval by Chantelle's mum Vivien, 47.
Chantelle said: "Preston gets on really well with my mum. She thinks he's great."
The couple will be laughing all the way to the bank. They have already been offered £100,000 to do their first joint interview.
Looking glamorous in skinny dark blue jeans and silver bustier top, dizzy Essex girl Chantelle gazed lovingly at Preston and giggled: "I'm so happy about everything. My life is just so brilliant at the moment. It's all like a dream come true."
Then, as she snuggled up to her new love, she added: "I think he's amazing. It is so great to finally be able to be a proper couple.
"All this time I have had to play down how I feel but now at last we can be up front about it.
"It's fantastic and I just want to tell the world how happy I am."
Chantelle said no one can blame her for falling for Preston: "I don't know any woman out there who doesn't fancy him. I reckon everyone in the country has a soft spot for Preston," she said, happily.
Before their night out the couple had been struggling to see each other because of their hectic work schedules, and were forced to send each other text messages on Valentines Day as they didn't have time to meet.
But on Thursday Chantelle appeared at the Ordinary Boys' sell-out gig at the London Astoria. She danced along to their tracks and Preston did a rendition of Be My Baby for his new love.
Now the pair have to face more time apart - Preston flew to Japan on Friday to tour with his band before flying to Europe to work on a TV project.
Chantelle is also busy filming her fly on the wall E4 TV show Living the Dream. And this week she is recording her record: "I Want It Right Now" which is tipped to go to number one.
CHANTELLE yesterday admitted that she has a boyfriend - and was then exposed as a liar by a lie detector test when she said she had NOT received a Valentine's card from Preston.
When asked on ITV1 children's show Holly and Stephen's Saturday Showdown to choose between Blue's Simon Webbe and Jade's ex, Jeff Brazier, she said: "I can't - I'm off limits." Asked if she had got a card from Preston she said: "No."
