For religious reasons I do not get involved with Astrology.
As a clue as to what mine is, my star sign is the odd one out .
As for affecting our lives, sorry but that is complete hogwash.
The rules for Astrology were laid down before we knew the Earth went around the Sun, before we knew about some of the outer planets and other astronomical phenomenon.
The gravitaional influence of your PC you are reading this on would be greater on you than that of the outer planets.
If these stars and planets are supposed to influence our lives, then they should be set by the day we are conceived, not the day we are born.
A 12th of the population do not have the same identical experiences on the same day.
Newspaper Horroscopes contradict each other and are meaningless mish mash any hue, which can say anything about anyone.
Astrology does not take into account chaos theory either.
This may seem odd as I started the thread on the Chinese New year, but that is about cultural celebrations rather than having our lives govened by astronomical bodies which have no real physical influence on us at all.
