Davina made plans to spend night in house
Davina McCall has revealed that she wanted to spend a night in the final Celebrity Big Brother house, but cancelled plans after her husband didn’t want to ‘share’ her with the viewers of reality TV.
The host has also revealed that she hopes no former Big Brother housemates appear in the last every Celebrity Big Brother which is due to air on Sunday.
Davina commented: “It was funny, because I said to the producers, ‘Can I go in, can I go in just for a night? Just to go and hang out,’ and then I ran home to Matthew and I went, ‘Oh my God I might be allowed to go in for a night,’ and Matthew went, ‘No, I don’t want you to go in for a night,’ and I was like, ‘Why not?’ thinking it was the most exciting thing ever, and he went, ‘But it’s the one bit I don’t have to share of you’.”
She then went on to explained: “Because I’m always talking about him ad infinitum in interviews and I always say too much and poor Matthew has to put up with a lot from me. And he said, it’s the one bit I don’t have to share, you sleeping, so I’d rather you didn’t. So I’m not going to. He’s dreamy, what can I say.”
After accepting that her husband, Matthew did not want her to spend a night in the house, Davina added: “But I might pop in you never know.”
