Ok.
Then what happens is that people like you see such a thing and it becomes that way in your mind.
Then you fell away from Church or any Bible study and so it never progressed along with you.
Then when you are 22 and hear 'Genesis' or 'The Bible' your only reference is a childrens story,
and,
a child-like understanding of Genesis.

Now the real problem comes along when you suppose that your understanding simply must be 'what it is'. (you don't know better).
You suppose if YOU think its childish.. and since you are smart... then *therefore* it must be childish.
and,
anyone who does take it seriously must therefore be *childish*.

So you see when you show me a video like that you are showing me what is your problem.
What is childish about your understanding and where you have the arrested development here.
Not me or Baldwin.

That aside - I don't like the idea of presenting Genesis to children as it is a very serious and very adult account.
A rating should say 'This deals with mature content and may be difficult for children'.
I'm not just talking about violence here but just a lot of complex and 'advanced' (not always in good ways) human relationships, jealousy and on and on.
Things adults 'get' or can relate to but children and even teenagers won't really appreciate easily.

Some things yes. Some aspects yes.
but,
no, its not a childrens book.
