Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale enjoyed continued healthy ratings yesterday evening for their final episodes of the week, with Gail's wedding in Corrie logging 11m.

ITV's double bill of the Weatherfield soap, during which Gail and Joe tied the knot and Rick turned up at the reception, pulled in 10.88m (40.5%) and 11m (38.2%) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm respectively.

Meanwhile, BBC One's latest edition of EastEnders, which saw the Mitchells interrogate
Glenda, drew 10.85m (38.8%) from 8pm. BBC Three's 10pm repeat added a further 627k (2.5%).

Emmerdale maintained its successful run of ratings for its final screening of the week, turning in 8.28m (32.4%) from 7pm.

BBC One's episode of Doctors, yesterday titled 'Basting The Turkey', put in 2.18m (20.7%) at its usual time of 1.45pm.

Five's Neighbours, during which Amanda surprised Katie was seen by 1.32m (6.7%), while a further 120k (0.5%) tuned in at 7pm on Fiver for its repeat.

Channel 4's Hollyoaks continued its day-on-day downward trend on the week, managing 1.3m (5.2%) at 6.30pm, while E4's first look was watched by 550k (2.2%) half an hour later.
