Its okay to be rude if you are an alpha male, though?

What will she do?

Make music.

Before XFactor and manufactured pop came along, it was widely acknowledged that musicians were not the easiest people to live with. Any record producer will tell you this.
Conformity is the arch enemy of creativity. That's why conservative people tend to have zero creativity. That's why Britain is an anti-creative nation, on contrast with France and Japan which celebrate imagination and original thinking.

I think alot of people have become so used to manufactured music performers that they have forgot that real music artists are, by their very nature difficult people. That's why manufactured pop came into existence, to bypass the "difficult creative buggers".

People say Sov behaved like a 14 year old, well Elton John often behaves like a 4 year old.
Ian Dury was, by his own admission, an absolute bastard.
David Bowie, at Sov's age, was coked up on drugs up to his eyeballs.
Michael Jackson was weird (you've heard the stories about Bubbles etc but what about his writing music for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 then dropping out of it and not wanting his name on it despite being a huge Sonic fan)
Mick Jagger, at Sov's age, was shagging anything in a skirt.
Bono is a massive egotistical tit.
Axl Rose is by all accounts a massive pain in the arse.
Eminem is a drug addict who hates homosexuals.
Elvis Pressely died on a toilet.
Kurt Cobain...nuff said.

People expected Sov to behave like Jedward (the embodiment of modern British music), because that's how we now expect performers to behave.

Lady Sovereign's music has been used in various videogames (Project Gotham 4, Fight Night, etc), and adverts by Nintendo and Verizon, so I would not say she is obscure. If "Hoodie" had got decent airplay, it would have very likely been a top ten hit.
