Sisqo has always been 'himself'. He was hardly acting for the past few weeks creating an alternate persona. His simply become more vocal now that he has been nominated. That's natural. Every action as a reaction.
You should read your sources more carefully. Vinnie is donating a
percentage of his fee to charity. Not the full 350,000. And it's only that much because they refused his demand of half a million.
