Vinnie was gutted, absolutely gutted at being beaten by Alex and Dane, both of whom he considers nonentities.
And he must have heard the "Get Vinnie Out" chants every time Davina spoke to the house. He must realise he has gone from hero to zero. (Not sure anyone other than himself though he was actually a hero, though.
)
That was a great result in itself!
