CHANTELLE BLASTED BY RAGING REV
A RECTOR has slammed Big Brother's Chantelle Houghton for her "Oh My God" outbursts - and waded into chavs for wearing the cross.
Rev Michael Trodden told parishioners: "I know I sound like the grumpy old rector but I hate to see the mockery and trivialisation of God.
"I presumed the lovely Chantelle was the most religious housemate since 'Oh My God' is all she seemed to say. Sadly she is typical of an age when the Lord's name is abused more and more.
"I also get angry when I see the cross used as a tasteless bit of jewellery."
And after Muslims rioted over "offensive" cartoons, Rev Trodden, of Ampthill, Beds, urged Christians to defend their religion. He said: "The Church never stands up for anything. It comes across as weak."
