EXCLUSIVE: BURNS IS EVICTED

Big Brother Pete is kicked out of posh suite over bill

CROSS-DRESSING Celebrity Big Brother star Pete Burns has been evicted from his luxury hotel suite under police escort - after rowing about the bill.

The 46-year-old millionaire and his boyfriend Michael Simpson, 37, were escorted from London's exclusive Hempel Hotel after claims the Eighties rocker hadn't paid the huge bill for his swish £450-a-night apartment.

The trouble began as super-bitch Pete returned to the apartment on Tuesday night to find the doors had been locked - after hotel bosses had decided that he wasn't getting back in until he settled the bill - which after a month was well over £10,000.

Pete kicked up such a fuss that managers put him in a cheaper room for the night and agreed to resolve it in the morning. One astonished hotel guest tells us: "Pete was totally p*****d off. He had apparently been looking forward to some romantic time with his fella."

Bizarrely - even for Pete - the flamboyant rocker actually lives just down the road from the Notting Hill hotel, but he wanted to do something a bit special for Michael.

"So you can imagine his fury when he found out they'd been locked out of their love-nest," says our nark.

The following morning Pete's temper had not cooled. Continues our mole: "There was a huge disagreement and Pete asked for the police to be called. But it backfired and he was still fuming when he left in a cab."

The police, ever diplomatic, will just say they were called to "an incident" and that no charges will come out of it.

And Pete's people admit there was a "misunderstanding" over the hotel bill.

The flak added: "Pete does things the Burns way." The stroppy way, then?
