There are so many sweets I remember from my childhood, most of which are no longer around:
Jap desserts, lucky tatties (these cost 2d and had either a halfpenny or a lucky charm wrapped in tissue paper inside them), liquorice straps, penny chews, floral gums, cherry lips. I could go on and on...................
