I once took some Duesseldorf fans to see Fife Flyers vs Murrayfield knowing 0 of ice hockey as something to do on their holidays visiting me.
I watched "1st half", bought them Scottish tops then watched "2nd Half" - then got up to go home - they had to tell me 3 periods
I honestly didn't know as never watched it before :-)
