yeah i think they should just get the worst punishment EVER in the whole of the world and teach them a lesson. Not quite a life of luxury Krissy! they are often locked in their cells for 23 hours a day only being allowed to go out for 1 hour of exercise or for visits! Like I said before their punishment is a restriction of their liberty to ensure they are not given the opportunity to cause further harm.
Ruth like you I do not believe in the death penalty but I do believe that a life sentence should mean life! look at the sentences handed out in america compared to the silly ones given out over here that said giving someone 150 years is a bit OTT!
A full judicial review is needed of the sentences that are given for every crime and I do think we would be a lot better off if the courts enforced the 3 strikes and your out life sentence for persistent offenders.
