It isn't about being very sensitive - it is about not being insensitive to the feelings of others. We don't know what has happened or is happening in other member's lives. Disgusting jokes about cot deaths - what if a mother who has lost a child to cot death reads that, or someone who has lost a family member to cancer (cancer 'jokes) - childish, pathetic and sometimes downright nasty! That is not aimed at you by the way!
